“Long time no see, Singapore! Let’s make a beautiful night!”
Singapore welcomed B.I back with open arms as he graced Capitol Theatre on Friday, marking the third leg of his highly anticipated 2024 “HYPE UP” Tour. The energy was palpable as the K-pop idol effortlessly sang, rapped, and danced his way into the hearts of his devoted IDs. “I will try to speak in English but my English teacher is on holiday now so I will speak in half English and half Korean,” said B.I.
With his signature charm and wit, B.I engaged the crowd in a mix of English and Korean banter, endearing himself even further to his adoring fans. Despite playful promises to take it easy, he couldn’t resist teasing the audience with his dynamic stage presence, weaving through the aisles and climbing makeshift barricades to get up close and personal with his fans.
The bond between B.I and his fans was undeniable, as they reciprocated his energy with fervent cheers and unwavering support. Fans were treated to intimate moments as B.I posed for photos, shared hugs, and even grabbed a lucky fan’s hand for a memorable snapshot.
To further fuel the fever-pitched IDs, B.I also proceeded to dance through the pits. So close to the man himself, some got to hug him, sweat and all. He definitely left fans beaming from ear to ear with all his fan service.

Speaking to his fans, he kept promising to take it easy and yet, continuously tease the crowd with subtle touches s he patrols around the arena. Like a man on a mission, B.I is determined to make every single person feel his presence last night.
Feeding off the positive energy and good vibes, the singer keeps it casual and light with his audience.
At one point, B.I grabbed a girl by her hand so she could take a picture with him. Along with the shrills of excitement, probably the most shouted phrases for the night were “saraehaeyo”.
IDs were obviously smitten. In a segment dedicated by IDs to him, they couldn’t chorus of ”Four Letters” to B.I, serenading him with a passion and love for him and his music. At the end of the chorus, the screen flashed “ID <3 B.I”.
But of course, it is a concert after all. And what is the concert without at least one costume change?
Throughout the night, B.I showcased his versatility as an artist, seamlessly transitioning between hit songs and surprise collaborations. A highlight of the evening was when he introduced his protégé Leo. He performed “Pretty Plzzz” with the former Trainee A idol, before popping backstage.
Leo took over the stage who mesmerized the crowd with his powerful vocals and captivating stage presence as he belt out a taster of his debut title, “Come Closer”, as well as B.I’s creation, “Farewell”.
Jumping back into action following the short intermission, but B.I returned with a shirt that eventually loses a button.
Then two.
Then all. Much to the delight of the crowd.
At this point, we crown him fan service king – making time pass in the blink of an. As everyone intelligence is not a series voice and equally tantalising dance moves, B.I commanded every minute, from start to end, to encore.
He even played the demo of the song that was made during the Asian tour with his DJ.
The concert felt like an intimate party filled with happy laughters, silly antics, and that random friend who is suddenly all philosophical about life.
It wasn’t just about the music; B.I took the opportunity to impart words of wisdom to his young audience, encouraging them to chase their dreams and steer clear of harmful influences. His genuine concern for his fans’ well-being was evident, making the concert experience not only entertaining but also uplifting and meaningful.
As the night came to a close, B.I left his mark with an encore performance that left the audience wanting more.
Till then, big thank you to Three Angles Production for having us!
