Singapore’s Seotangs had every reason to celebrate National Day this year, as it marked Soojin’s first fan concert tour in the city-state. The concert, held at the iconic Capitol Theatre, promised an unforgettable evening, and Soojin delivered with flair and energy.

The concert kicked off with a high-energy performance of ‘Agassy’ and ‘Drop Top’. Soojin’s slick dance moves and charismatic presence captivated the audience from the very start. After her dynamic opening, Soojin took a moment to introduce herself and revealed that she chose to start the concert with ‘Agassy’ as it was her debut title song and it holds a very special place in her heart.

The night continued with a series of engaging activities including games, a quiz show and VCRs. Soojin encouraged the fans to pay close attention to the VCRs as she promised exciting surprises throughout the concert. She also kept the energy up with a variety of interactive segments, including a TMI Quiz Show which brought fans closer to her. Fans participated eagerly, guessing fun facts about Soojin, such as her favorite ice cream flavor (pistachio) and her preferred song (‘Summer Daze’).

Following the quiz, Soojin mesmerized the crowd with her stunning renditions of ‘Tide’ and ‘bloodredroses’. The singer then delighted fans with a captivating VCR segment, sharing the origin of her fandom name, ‘Seotang’, which was a nickname chosen by her parents. She expressed her love for cooking, despite her admitted lack of skill, and showcased some summer-themed paintings. Her candidness extended to her hobbies, including playing PUBG and her commitment to reading every fan message she receives.

Soojin’s performance reached new heights when she returned to the stage in a sultry two-piece outfit. Her rendition of ‘Mona Lisa’ was electrifying, and she further wowed the audience with a dance cover of Christina Aguilera’s ‘But I’m A Good Girl’.

The excitement continued with a “99-Seconds Mini Olympics” segment, where Soojin played six mini-games to win prizes for her fans. The playful competition and Soojin’s desperate attempts to secure victories added a hilarious and endearing element to the night.

As the evening progressed, Soojin settled down for a more intimate performance with ‘Sunset’. The atmosphere turned magical as fans lit up their phone flashlights, creating a starry ambiance. Soojin closed her set with ‘Summer Daze’, mingling with fans and responding to their calls for an encore.
