Music lovers gathered at Suntec City Plaza Stage for GrooveDriver Festival 2025, an energetic evening that brought together local and international acts in a celebration of sound, connection, and community — just days before Singapore kicks into high gear for the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The festival shone a spotlight on local acts whylucas and Regina Song, who opened the night with soulful performances that showcased the strength and creativity of Singapore’s music scene. Their sets set the tone for an evening where genres blended seamlessly, from heartfelt acoustic pop to slick K-pop beats.

International acts soon took the stage, led by Korean artists GEMINI, YUJU and SHAUN, each bringing their signature flair, delivering powerful sets that had the crowd swaying, singing and cheering.
Adding a special touch to the evening was UK singer-songwriter Henry Moodie, who made his first-ever performance in Singapore. Henry Moodie captivated the crowd with an intimate set that felt raw, personal and deeply engaging. His interactions with fans — from heartfelt shoutouts to spontaneous singalongs — made the milestone performance one to remember.
What truly set GrooveDriver Festival apart was its intimate atmosphere — the audience wasn’t just watching the performance; they were part of the whole experience. Unlike massive arenas, this festival allowed fans to get close to their favourite artists. Most of them came out after their sets to sign autographs, take photos, and interacted with fans, creating moments that felt as personal as they were memorable.

As Singapore builds up to the high-octane Formula 1 weekend, GrooveDriver Festival 2025 offered an intimate prelude to the city’s biggest party, bringing fans closer to the music and their favourite artists. In contrast to the grandeur of the upcoming race festivities, the festival reminded audiences that sometimes the most powerful moments happen in smaller, more personal settings.
With its stellar lineup, warm energy, and unforgettable performances, the festival struck the perfect chord to open race week, showing that even before the engines start, Singapore is already in motion.
