The Bubbling & Boiling Music and Arts Festival opened its Singapore edition on 13 September 2025 with a varied line-up of K-pop acts. From soloists to rookie groups and established idols, Day 1 offered a spectrum of sounds and styles across the evening.
Samuel opened the show with upbeat tracks including Tell Me and YEH!YEH!. His set featured lively choreography and light interactions in both English and Mandarin, easing the audience into the festival and setting a warm tone for the night.
Rookie group HITGS took the stage with their original tracks Sourpatch, GROSS, and CHARIZZMA, as well as a medley of popular K-pop hits. Their mix of covers and original songs gave the set both familiarity and freshness, showing their enthusiasm as a rookie act.

Next, H1-KEY delivered a polished showcase of their discography, performing Rose Blossom, Let It Burn, and Summer Was You. Their harmonies and stage synergy highlighted their growth as a group and gave the audience one of the tighter performances of the evening.
Rapper Cheetah provided a change of pace with her commanding stage presence. Performing tracks like Kick It and Like Nobody Knows, she filled the stage with intensity. At one point, she paused to film the crowd and share her appreciation for the chance to perform in Singapore, adding a personal moment to her fiery set.
Boy group CRAVITY turned up the energy with a dynamic setlist that included Swish, Adrenaline, Groovy, Secret, POW, and Now or Never. They struck a balance between high-powered choreography and smoother, melodic moments, while playful interactions with fans kept their segment lively.
Xiumin made a return to Singapore with a solo set that carried plenty of emotion. Performing WHEE!, Serenity, Switch Off, Make You LaLa, Can’t Help Myself, and Lost Paradise, he delivered a mix of upbeat and sentimental tracks. For many fans, it was a meaningful moment to see him back on stage after several years away.

Closing out the night, (G)I-DLE performed a run of their most popular tracks, including Super Lady, GOOD THING, TOMBOY, and QUEENCARD. In between, they reminisced about shooting their debut album photos in Singapore, a moment that drew cheers from the audience. Their set ended with Fate, bringing Day 1 to a confident close.
From Samuel’s opening to (G)I-DLE’s headline finish, Day 1 of Bubbling & Boiling showcased a variety of acts, each bringing their own flavour to the stage. With rookies, established groups, and soloists all represented, the night offered a broad cross-section of today’s K-pop scene — and marked a notable start for the festival’s first Singapore edition.
