In 2142, space travel becomes possible — at least in the universe Solar imagined for her 3rd Concert [SOLARIS] in Singapore. For one night at The Arena @ EXPO, fans boarded the interstellar passenger ship SOLARIS, embarking on a journey guided by the artist herself. It wasn’t just a concert. It was a narrative-driven, multi-chapter experience that fused sci-fi fantasy, theatre, and Solar’s unmistakable emotional core.

At the heart of SOLARIS was a simple but powerful motif: “Solar is _____.”
Across four chapters, Solar filled in that blank — transforming, storytelling, and revealing new layers of herself with every shift in persona.

CHAPTER 1 — Solar is the Empress
The voyage launched with a jolt of power. Solar emerged as The Empress, commanding the SOLARIS ship with sharp charisma and regal energy. Dressed like a spacefaring sovereign, she opened the show with precision, confidence, and stage presence that felt larger than the arena itself.
As captain of the SOLARIS, she steered fans into a high-octane opening, effortlessly blending the concert’s futuristic world-building with her signature powerhouse performance style.

CHAPTER 2 — Solar is the Imaginer
From authority to imagination, the concert shifted into its second arc — The Imaginer — where Solar explored the dreams she wished to manifest into reality.
Here, she played with visuals, concepts, and creative expression that pushed beyond typical K-pop staging. This chapter felt whimsical yet bold, almost like peeking directly into the ideas that fuel her artistry. Solar shared a brief moment of honesty, confessing she had initially worried about performing alone — and the crowd responded instantly with loud encouragement. Vulnerability, imagination, and ambition all converged in this segment.

CHAPTER 3 — Solar is the Story
The emotional core of the night arrived in the third chapter. Solar is the Story unfolded like a diary — intimate, reflective, and deeply human.
Solar performed MAMAMOO’s signature ‘MAMAMOO Medley’, beginning with her favourite B-side “From Autumn to Winter (Intro)”, bringing nostalgia to life with a fresh solo interpretation, followed by crowd favourites: “I Miss You”, “You’re the Best” and “Piano Man”.
Then came one of the night’s standout moments: Solar singing in Chinese. Solar shared about how she contemplated which language (Korean / Chinese) she should sing “Floating Free” in, before ultimately committing to Chinese because she felt that it would resonate more with Singapore YONGSOONs — a gesture that drew immediate applause. It wasn’t just a performance; it was a moment of connection with local fans.
From there, she guided the audience into her musical theatre world, performing “Wind Flower” and selections from her role in the musical Mata Hari. Her tone shifted — more expressive, theatrical, narrative-focused — showcasing a performer who has grown far beyond the boundaries of pop.
She then revealed exciting news: her next musical, SUGAR, based on 1959 Billy Wilder film Some Like It Hot starring Marilyn Monroe. Describing the comedic story, the disguised male characters, and her role as Sugar (played by Marilyn Monroe in the original film), Solar’s laughter lit up the hall. She also teased that YONGSOONs (fans) can come watch it in Korea in December.
This chapter felt like reading the margins of Solar’s life — her inspirations and her growth.

CHAPTER 4 — Solar is the One
The final segment brought everything home. Solar is the One was the culmination of Solar and Kim Yong-sun — the performer and the person — merging on stage without filters.
“How was this space journey with Solar?” she asked sincerely, followed by, “Will you wait for me until I’m back?” The arena erupted with a resounding yes.
Fans were invited to capture a group photo — a keepsake punctuating the emotional landing of the Solaris ship.
But the journey wasn’t over yet.
During her encore, Solar broke the boundary between stage and audience, stepping down to get up close with fans during “Decalcomanie.” She closed the night with explosive, upbeat numbers that had the entire arena on their feet, jumping in unison as her energy surged through the room.

In Solar’s Orbit
As the lights dimmed, it felt clear that SOLARIS had achieved its mission.
Solar didn’t just perform — she built a universe in real time. A universe where she is an empress, a dreamer, a storyteller, and — most compellingly — herself. Each segment, each confession, each vocal run formed a constellation that told us who she is now, as an artist standing confidently in her solo identity.
A storyteller. A performer. An empress, a captain, a dreamer — and ultimately, Solar, shining brighter than ever.
Solar invited Singapore into her universe — and left us glowing in her orbit long after the final note.
